Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies for student success.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, providing expert recommendations to support individualized learning plans.
• Offer individual and group counseling when appropriate.
• Assist with crisis intervention and create behavioral intervention plans for students requiring extra support.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state requirements.

Requirements:

• Must hold a current South Carolina School Psychologist license.
• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology required.
• Experience working in a school environment is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Job Specifics:

• Location: Marion, SC
• Setting: Onsite
• Grade Levels: K-12
• Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Contract: Covers the current school year with potential extension into summer school and the 2024-2025 school year
• Weekly Pay: Competitive rates, dependent on experience
