Responsibilities:

• Co-teach and support differentiated instruction for students with disabilities.
• Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Implement modifications and accommodations within the general education classroom.
• Utilize data systems for progress monitoring and creating actionable plans.
• Engage in co-teaching models and work effectively with small groups.
• Build positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
• Maintain accurate records, grading, and reports as required by district standards.

Qualifications:

• New York State Certification in Special Education (K-12, K-6, or 7-12) required.
• Experience with instructional models like co-teaching and data-driven instruction.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills within diverse communities.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Elementary and Middle School (Co-Teaching)
• Hours per Week: 37.5, full-time
