Are you passionate about making a difference for students with special needs? We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for an intensive needs program focusing on students with Autism. This is a full-time position where you’ll be an essential part of a supportive and specialized educational environment.

Position Highlights:

• Location: Grahamville, VT
• Program: Intensive Needs, Autism Focus
• Caseload: 3-4 students after 12/12
• Hours per Week: Full-time
• Contract Duration: Current school year 2024-2025

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with Autism.
• Foster a structured and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure student success.
• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Special Education teaching license for the state of Vermont.
• Experience with Autism and intensive needs programs is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field.
