We're looking for dedicated DHH (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) Teachers to join our team in San Antonio, TX! With both full-time and part-time openings, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and make a real impact. Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and indirect support to DHH students.
  • For direct support, work in-person with students unless the parent agrees to virtual support.
  • Deliver virtual support for indirect services as needed.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students (fewer for part-time).
  • Collaborate with school staff to create and implement individualized plans for students.

Qualifications:

  • Must be certified as a DHH Teacher in Texas.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Deaf Education or related field.

Position Details:

  • Classroom: DHH students (average caseload of 40 students)
  • Hours per Week: Full-time (40 hrs/week) and Part-time (25 hrs/week) options available
  • Caseload: Approximately 40 students (less for part-time)
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
  • Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan
  • Contract Duration: Current school year with the option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year
