Special Education Teacher – Detroit, MI

Looking to make an impact on young learners with special needs? We’re hiring a compassionate Special Education Teacher for a K-2 class in Detroit, MI!

Role Overview:

Full-time position with 10 students.
Support from 3 paraprofessionals.
Work with students with Autism and cognitive impairments.

Responsibilities:

Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Lead a collaborative classroom environment with paraprofessional support.
Work with families, therapists, and staff to ensure student progress.

Requirements:

Michigan Special Education Teacher Certification.
Experience with Autism and cognitive impairments preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
