School-Based Special Education Teacher – Ortonville, MI

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to work in Ortonville, Michigan, providing support for elementary students with non-verbal ASD. Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized support to elementary students with non-verbal Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Work closely with students to support communication and social development.
• Collaborate with staff and families to ensure success for each student.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Michigan Special Education Teacher License.
• ASD endorsement and experience with non-verbal students are preferred but not required.
• Passion for working with students with special needs and providing tailored educational support.

Position Details:

Classroom: Elementary, Non-Verbal ASD (6-8 students)
Hours per Week: Full-Time, 8:21 AM - 3:51 PM, Monday to Friday
Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Duration: ASAP – 6/12/2025, with potential to extend for future school years.
