Are you a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter looking for a rewarding opportunity? We have a full-time position available in Yelm, WA, working with kindergarten students. Bring your skills and passion for communication to our supportive school environment!

Position Highlights:

  • Role: Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
  • Location: Yelm, WA
  • Dates: ASAP – June 13, 2025
  • Hours: Full-Time, 6.5 hours per day
  • Caseload: Kindergarten students
  • Setting: Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication between students and teachers using American Sign Language.
  • Support students in their learning environment to enhance their educational experience.
  • Collaborate with staff to create an inclusive atmosphere for all students.

Qualifications:

  • Must have an EIPA Performance Score of 4.0 or higher, and the EIPA Written Test or RID certification along with the EIPA Written Test.
  • Experience working with young children is preferred.

Position Details:

  • Classroom: Kindergarten
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive salary based on experience

  • Current school year contract with the option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
