Illinois School-Based Occupational Therapist Job Opportunity (SY 24-25)

Bilingual Therapies is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our team in West Chicago, IL. This is a hands-on position where you’ll work directly with students facing a wide range of challenges, offering them the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

• Targeted Assessments: Identify specific needs through detailed evaluations, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory integration, and daily living activities.
• Custom Treatment Plans: Develop and execute individualized strategies that address each student’s unique needs, ensuring they can fully participate in school activities.
• Integrated Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to create a cohesive support system for each student.
• Outcome Tracking: Regularly monitor and document student progress, refining treatment approaches to maximize effectiveness.
• IEP Development: Contribute to the creation and updating of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), aligning therapy goals with educational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Credentials: Licensed Occupational Therapist in the state of Illinois.
• Experience: Proven experience with elementary-aged children, particularly those with diverse needs, a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Open to both monolingual and bilingual practitioners.
