Are you an experienced School Social Worker looking for a fulfilling role in a hybrid setting? Join our team in Stanton, MI, where you’ll support students with various needs while enjoying a flexible caseload and schedule!

Position Highlights:

  • Location: Hybrid (1-2 school sites, can be flexible)
  • Hours: 7 - 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week
  • Caseload Size: Less than 20 students
  • Grade Levels: K-12 (flexible based on preference)
  • Contract Duration: Current school year (2024-2025)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide social work services to students in an ISD center-based program and/or satellite programs.
  • Support students with emotional impairments (EI), cognitive impairments (CI), and autism spectrum disorder (ASD) eligibility.
  • Manage a manageable caseload of students with significant and/or less significant needs.
  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans, conduct assessments, and collaborate with school staff to ensure student success.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students, ensuring their emotional and social well-being.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Michigan School Social Worker license required.
  • Experience working with students with EI, CI, and ASD is a plus.
  • Master's degree in Social Work preferred.
