Job Opportunity: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Early Childhood Special Education
We are seeking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join our Education Service District in Central Oregon, providing services for the full school year (SY 24-25). You will support early childhood and early intervention special education students across 13 counties in the region. This district offers various options for employment, with a priority for onsite SLPs, but also considering hybrid or remote roles.
Position Overview:
- Assignment Period: Full School Year (SY 24-25).
- Hours: Full-time.
- Caseload/Population: Early Childhood/Early Intervention Special Education.
- Location: Central Oregon Region (onsite, hybrid, or remote options available).
Available Positions (Prioritized in this order):
- 3 Onsite SLPs
- 1 SLPA partnered with an SLP (onsite)
Requirements:
- Valid Oregon SLP License.
- Ability to obtain Oregon fingerprints.
- Contractors will need to complete onboarding through the district's HR department (process TBD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to early childhood students in an education service district setting.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide therapy for children with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with special education teams and educators to ensure effective service delivery.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations.
