Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Part-Time

Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team on a part-time basis. This role involves working closely with a caseload of 22 students, providing essential speech and language services. You will have the opportunity to support students in both an intensive classroom setting and through inclusion practices, making a significant difference in their communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to 22 students with varying needs.
• Facilitate 1 day of therapy within an intensive classroom environment and 2 days focusing on inclusion settings.
• Assess student needs and develop tailored therapy plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to track student progress.
• Attend IEP meetings to help set and review individualized goals.
• Keep detailed records of therapy sessions and student advancements.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Current Illinois Department of Financial and Professional. Regulation (IDFPR) license.
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
