Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Location: Somerville, TN

Employment Type: Part-time

Dates: September 18, 2024 – May 23, 2025

Hours: 20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with identified speech and language needs.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both one-on-one and in group settings.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active SLP license in Tennessee.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred.
  • Previous experience in school-based settings, especially working with elementary and middle school students, is a plus.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Schedule and Work Environment:

  • Part-time role with a flexible 20-hour per week schedule.
  • Caseload will primarily involve elementary students, with some middle school students.
