Job Posting: Special Education Teacher (5 Openings)

Position Details:

• Grade Levels: K-4 or 5-8.
• Caseload: Average of 20 students.
• Support Model: Push-in and pull-out services.
• Focus Areas: Reading fluency and comprehension, foundational math skills.
• Most Common Disabilities: Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) and Developmental Delay (DD).

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid Professional Educator License (PEL).
• LBS1 endorsement required.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and small group instruction to students with IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to implement inclusive practices.
• Develop and adapt curriculum to meet the needs of students in reading and math.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
