We are seeking a Part-Time Special Education Teacher to support an 8th-grade student in Saugerties, NY. This position requires flexibility, as the student is awaiting CSE placement and currently receiving virtual home instruction.

Position Details:

• Location: Saugerties, NY
• Schedule: 15 hours per week
• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: June (Short-term or long-term assignment possible)
• Service Delivery: Combination of in-person and virtual instruction

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to the student's needs.

• Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student success.
• Maintain accurate records and progress reports.

Requirements:

• Active Special Education licensure in NY
• Ability to provide both in-person and virtual instruction
• School-based experience required
• Must complete district fingerprinting process
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
