Position: Special Education Teacher (SPED) – Behavior Support Classroom

Location: Jackson, GA
Dates: November 4, 2024 – May 23, 2025
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Onsite: Yes

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to work in a K-5 Behavior Support Classroom, supporting students with diverse needs, including Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Other Health Impairments (OHI), ADD, and Autism. This position manages a caseload of 7-8 students, providing targeted instruction and behavioral interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Foster a supportive learning environment for students with emotional and behavioral needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide tailored support.
