Hiring School Social Worker in Springfield, MA | 24/25 School Year

Bilingual Therapies has partnered with a School District near the Springfield, MA area that is looking for a School Social Worker for the school year 2024-2025. Please see additional details about this opportunity below:

Job Type:

• Full time - 37.5 hours / week
• Full 2024-2025 school year
• K-12
• Onsite / W2

Qualifications:

• Requires Master's Degree in Social Work
• State License and School Endorsed Social Worker License needed
• Experience working with students in school setting
• Bilingual is a plus
• 2 years previous experience in schools preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide group and individual counseling sessions and classroom support to special education students as mandated per student IEPs, as well as progress monitor IEP goals associated with mandated services and participate in student IEP meetings.
• Provide group and individual counseling sessions to general education students, as well as monitor the students’ responses to the interventions identified.
