Position Details:

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • End Date: End of the current school year
  • Schedule: 2-3 days per week, with a flexible schedule
  • Caseload: K-12 students
  • Location: School-based

Responsibilities:

  • Provide physical therapy services to support students’ educational needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to create and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Evaluate students' mobility, motor skills, and physical development.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Assist with IEP development and participate in team meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current Alabama Physical Therapist license.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to school policies and guidelines.
