High School Special Education Teacher - Resource Room (Annapolis, MD)

Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Special Education Teacher to join our high school team in Annapolis, MD. This resource room position involves supporting students primarily in general education classrooms, with minimal pull-out sessions. You'll work with a caseload of 10-15 students in grades 9-12. This is a full-time role with approximately 37.5 hours per week, and while exact start and end times are yet to be finalized, the schedule is estimated to be from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The position runs from ASAP until June 13, 2025.

• Setting: Majority of time in general education classrooms with minimal pull-out.

Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification/licensure.
• Prior experience working with high school students in a resource or inclusive setting preferred.
