Responsibilities:

• Teach and support elementary students with moderate to severe disabilities in a Life Skills program.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
• Provide instruction and support in life skills and functional academics.

Qualifications:

• Valid Idaho Teaching Certificate with Special Education (SPED) endorsement.
• Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities.
• Must be committed to providing high-quality education to students with varying needs.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Onsite in Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time, up to 37.5 hours per week (Monday through Thursday).
• Weekly Pay: Competitive salary based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including dental, medical, vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: 01/02/2025 to 06/06/2025, with the potential to extend for future school years.
