Full-Time | 37.5-40 hours per week | Onsite Only

Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher looking to make an impact in a supportive and dynamic classroom? Join our team in Kannapolis, NC, where you'll work with 7th and 8th grade students in an Inclusion and Resource Classroom setting. With a caseload of 20-25 students, you’ll help create an inclusive environment that supports their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Teach and provide support for 7th and 8th grade students in both Inclusion and Resource Classroom settings.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure accommodations and modifications are in place.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment to support students’ academic success.

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Special Education License with a focus on Resource.
• Must be familiar with the NC IEP ECAT system.
• Previous school experience is highly preferred.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Inclusion and Resource Classroom settings
• Hours per Week: 37.5-40 hours per week
• Weekly Pay: Competitive pay based on experience

• Contract Duration: ASAP – May 23, 2025, with potential for extension for the 2024-2025 school year
