Position Details:

  • Location: Oakland, CA
  • Role: School Psychologist
  • Hours: Full Time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Contract Duration: Current school year, 2024-2025

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to enhance students' educational performance
  • Screen and evaluate students by selecting appropriate tools, administering tests, conducting observations, and creating detailed reports
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings, sharing evaluations and collaborating on education plans
  • Work with staff on RTI implementation, Student Study Teams, and crisis planning
  • Consult with parents, teachers, and staff about accommodations/modifications for students
  • Maintain accurate data and submit reports promptly
  • Plan and manage caseloads, assessments, and meetings with staff

Qualifications:

  • License: Must hold valid School Psychologist certification in California
  • Experience: Previous experience with IEPs, RTI, and group counseling preferred
