Position Overview:

• Classroom: Focus on Work/Life skills for 9th/10th and 11th/12th grade students
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Compensation: Competitive weekly pay, commensurate with experience

• Contract: Current school year with possible extension for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Lead classroom instruction while managing student behaviors
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and support personnel to promote student success
• Assist students with cognitive impairments in both academic and life skills development

Qualifications:

• Required: Michigan Special Education Certification with Cognitive Impairment (CI) endorsement
• Preferred: Experience with 9th-12th grade students
