Full-Time School Art Teacher Opportunity in Chester, PA!

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Art Teacher to join our arts-integrated school in Chester, Pennsylvania! This full-time position offers 37.5 hours per week, starting ASAP through June 13, 2025. If you have a passion for teaching art to Pre-K to 5th grade students and thrive in an urban school setting, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach engaging art lessons for Pre-K to 5th grade students.
• Create lesson plans aligned with current state and district standards.
• Use formative assessments to drive instruction and differentiation.
• Foster creativity and artistic expression in students.
• Maintain strong classroom and behavior management skills.

Qualifications:

• Active PA certification/licensure as an Art Teacher required.
• Bachelor’s degree required (to receive an emergency teaching permit).
• Previous experience in urban education is a plus.
• Must be able to complete all PA clearances.
• Strong classroom and behavioral management skills.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Arts-integrated Pre-K to 5th grade setting.
• Hours per Week: 37.5 hours.
• Weekly Pay: Competitive based on experience.

• Contract Duration: Current school year, with an option to extend for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
• Onsite: Must be onsite for this position.
