Responsibilities
- Provide specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students
- Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to ensure student success
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and adjust strategies
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania Educator Credential for Visually Impaired (K-12) required
- Strong understanding of visual impairment strategies and tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Job Details
- Location: McVeytown, PA
- Hours: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: 20-30 students with session durations ranging from 30 to 75 minutes
- Weekly Pay: Competitive and consistent
- Travel: Mileage reimbursement and travel stipend provided
