About the Role:

• Position: School Psychologist
• Location: Marion, SC
• Work Setting: Onsite
• Grade Levels: K-12
• Hours: Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
• Contract Period: Current school year, with potential extension for summer school and the 2024-2025 school year

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create and implement individualized student support plans
• Contribute to IEP meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations
• Provide counseling services and develop intervention strategies to support student success
• Assist with crisis intervention and development of behavior intervention plans
• Ensure all documentation and reports comply with district and state requirements

Qualifications:

• Must hold an active South Carolina School Psychologist License
• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate Degree in School Psychology
• Prior experience in a school setting is highly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
