Exciting Opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist in Palatine, IL!

Are you a passionate SLP looking to make a real difference in the lives of young students? We’re seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Palatine, IL. This full-time role offers a collaborative environment, working closely with classroom teachers to support students in a self-contained Autism class.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language services to elementary-aged students in a self-contained Autism class.
• Collaborate and co-teach with the classroom teacher to ensure individualized support.
• Spend most of the day within the classroom setting to support language and communication goals.

Qualifications:

• License Required: Illinois state SLP licensure
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
• Experience with Autism spectrum disorders preferred

Position Details:

• Caseload: K-5 elementary students, approximately 10 students
• Hours: Full-time, 8:25 AM - 3:05 PM
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, with additional benefits

Contract Duration: Current school year (2024-2025)
