Key Responsibilities:
- Teach morning and afternoon classes (up to 11 students per class) with diverse learning needs
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, service providers, and an ABA therapist
- Create and implement individualized lesson plans aligned with student goals
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere for students with varying abilities
Qualifications:
- Pennsylvania Certification in PK-4 and/or Special Education required
- Emergency certification available for out-of-state applicants
- Strong commitment to supporting children with special education needs
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Position Details:
- Classroom: Half-day sessions with small class sizes (up to 11 students per session)
- Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 3:30 PM
- Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
- Benefits: Full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K
- Contract Duration: 2024-2025 school year
