Responsibilities:

Teach AM and PM classes (up to 11 students each) with diverse special education needs
Work closely with a team, including a paraprofessional, related service providers, and an ABA therapist
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet individualized educational goals
Foster a positive learning environment for students with varying abilities

Qualifications:

Certification in PK-4 and/or Special Education in Pennsylvania required
Willing to consider emergency certification for out-of-state applicants
Passionate about working with children with special education needs
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Position Details:

Classroom: Half-day sessions with small class sizes (up to 11 students per class)
Hours per Week: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 3:30 PM
Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K

Contract Duration: Current school year (2024-2025)
