Position: ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher
Location: New Jersey
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person
School Year: 2024-2025

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with diverse students and be committed to helping them achieve academic success in their English language proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons to English language learners based on students’ proficiency levels and grade standards.
Provide individualized instruction and language support to students in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with New Jersey’s ESL standards and the school curriculum.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, TESOL, or a related field.
New Jersey ESL Teaching Certification.
Experience teaching ESL in a K-12 setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong understanding of language acquisition and effective instructional strategies for ELLs.
