Position Highlights:

Role: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Setting: Elementary school, working with students with significant needs.
Hours per Week: Full-Time
Contract Duration: Current school year 2024-2025

Responsibilities:

Assist in implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Work with students on developing fine motor skills, self-care routines, and classroom participation.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and therapists to ensure student progress.
Document sessions and maintain accurate records of therapy provided.

Qualifications:

Must have a valid COTA license in Illinois.
Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.
