Virtual Special Education (SPED) Case Manager – Maine

Position: Virtual SPED Case Manager
Location: Remote (Must be licensed in Maine)
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (Contract)
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: End of the 2024-2025 school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the IEP process for assigned students, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized plans
• Conduct virtual IEP meetings and maintain accurate documentation
• Monitor student progress and adjust services as needed
• Support accommodations, modifications, and interventions in a remote learning environment

Qualifications:

• Maine Special Education Certification (Required)
• Prior experience as a SPED Case Manager in a school setting
• Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a virtual setting with proficiency in online platforms
