Special Education Teacher - Resource Position
Location: St. Louis Park, MN

Join our team as a Special Education Teacher in St. Louis Park, MN, and make a lasting impact in the lives of students in grades K-5. This resource role will give you the opportunity to support a small group of students while fostering their growth and development in the classroom. We’re looking for a bilingual educator to enhance our school community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized support to a caseload of 8-10 students in K-5th grades.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to create individualized learning plans.
• Implement IEPs and monitor student progress.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt lessons and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual in Spanish, Russian, German, or Swahili is required.
• Valid Special Education certification in Minnesota.
• Prior experience in resource teaching or special education preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.

Position Details:

• Classroom: Onsite, working with a resource-based classroom for students K-5th grade.
• Hours per Week: Full-Time (standard work hours)
• Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience.
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including Dental, Medical, Vision, and 401K plan.
• Contract Duration: Current school year, with potential to extend for the 2024-2025 school year.
