Position Details:

• Role: Special Education Teacher
• Opening: 1 position available
• Grade Level: Kindergarten and 1st grade
• Language Requirement: Bilingual in Spanish required
• Schedule: Full-time for the 2024–2025 school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to optimize student success.
• Use effective strategies and interventions to support student learning and growth.
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching methods to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in special education (Virginia license preferred).
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.
• Experience working with K-1st grade students is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
