Hours: 11:30 AM - 6:15 PM

Bilingual Therapies is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Paraprofessionals to join our After School Program team. These full-time positions involve working with students in general education settings, providing essential support and ensuring a positive, engaging, and safe environment for students during after-school hours. The ideal candidates will have a passion for working with children, strong communication skills, and a commitment to fostering student growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Student Support: Assist students in the after-school program with homework, activities, and social interactions, ensuring they are engaged and supported.
- Activity Supervision: Supervise and facilitate various activities, including recreational, educational, and creative projects, to promote student engagement and well-being.
- Behavior Management: Implement positive behavior management strategies to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with program coordinators, teachers, and other staff to support the overall goals of the after-school program.
- Safety Monitoring: Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during program hours, following district policies and procedures.
- Communication: Regularly communicate with parents, teachers, and program staff about student progress and any concerns that may arise.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students.
- Commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for all students.
