We are looking for a compassionate and skilled School Psychologist to join our team and contribute to the success of students with disabilities. If you thrive in a collaborative environment and are passionate about helping students overcome challenges, this is a fantastic opportunity!

Position Overview:

  • Caseload: Approximately 100 students, with 30-40 evaluations per year and the potential for additional behavioral support.
  • Schedule: 24+ hours per week with flexible hours
  • Location: Colonial Beach, VA school district (onsite)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform evaluations for students with disabilities to determine educational needs.
  • Provide emotional and behavioral support to students in need.
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Promote the mental health and well-being of students from Kindergarten to 12th grade.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
  • Active Virginia School Psychologist license.

Position Details:

  • Caseload: K-12 students
  • Weekly Hours: 24+ hours
  • Weekly Pay: Competitive, based on experience

Contract Duration:

  • Current school year with the option to extend into summer school and the 2024-2025 school year.
