Are you an Occupational Therapist with a passion for helping students succeed? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to provide essential therapy services in Romulus, MI! This is a part-time, onsite role where you’ll collaborate with educators, parents, and students to foster growth and independence in an engaging school environment.

Position Details:

• Role: School Occupational Therapist
• Location: Romulus, MI (Onsite)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Hours: 20-25 per week
• Caseload: Supporting 30-45 students alongside the current OT
• Contract Length: Remainder of the school year, with a chance to extend for summer and the 2024-2025 school year

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized therapy to support students’ fine motor, sensory processing, and functional skills
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine therapy needs and progress
• Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and families to develop effective strategies
• Assist in the creation and implementation of IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
• Adapt classroom tasks and materials to enhance student participation and independence

Qualifications:

• Michigan Occupational Therapy License (Required)
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Required)
• Experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting (Preferred)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
