An exceptional school district near Salem, Massachusetts has partnered with Bilingual Therapies to hire a school psychologist for a current, full-time opening. In this role you will work with kiddos Grades 4-8. Hiring decisions will be made ASAP for the entire upcoming school year placement.


  • Evaluate students providing a comprehensive assessment of cognitive, social-emotional and behavioral needs, as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Provide comprehensive evaluation reports in accordance with federal and state guidelines, including specific recommendations for teachers and parents.
  • Present finding at team meetings and actively participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of special education eligibility categories and criteria.
  • Provide in-school counseling services on a 1-1 or small group setting as deemed appropriate.
  • Provide crisis counseling as needed.
  • Assist grade level Student Assistance Teams through the utilization of Response-to-Intervention (RTI).
  • Provide consultation to principal, general and special education teachers, counseling staff, related service providers, and parents.
  • Provide in-service training/workshops for faculty and parents.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services


  • Master’s or doctorate degree in School Psychology
  • Massachusetts school psychologist state license
