Now Hiring: Special Education Teacher 

Bilingual Therapies has partnered with a school district near Westchester, Illinois to hire a Special Education teacher for a current opening. In this role you will work with elementary and middle school students on a full-time basis. Hiring decisions will be made ASAP for placement through the 2021-2022 school year.

Job Details:

  • Grades 6-8
  • Interview Times: ASAP
  • August 9th - May 19th
  • Case management responsibilities
  • Creating, Implementing, Monitoring, and Reporting on IEP Goals, Behavior Intervention Plans, and Academic Progress

Responsibilities:

  • Direct services and consultation
  • Staff is expected to work onsite
  • Previous experience in schools or pediatrics preferred

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience working within a MTSS/Problem Solving Team
  • Experience working with low-income (75% Free and Reduced Lunch) and diverse student population Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Special Education or teaching students with special needs
  • Licensed Special Education teacher in the state of Illinois

Employment: Full-time, contract
