1:1 LPN needed in University Place, WA

Bilingual therapies is partnering with a school district in University Place, Washington to find a skillful LPN to come on board for the current school year. Apply now if you feel this is the right position for you!

Details:

• Caseload: 1:1 care for a medically fragile student
• Full time
• Start: Asap till end of school year 
• Student has a trach and requires in-line suctioning 
• G-tube care and feedings 
• Wheelchair bound and requires full assist with ADLs
• Students requires emergency oxygen as needed
•  UPSD and doctors have provided a well-detailed IHP (understanding of tracheostomy emergency care if becomes dislodged)
• Requires bus supervision to/from school
• Work day is approximately 7.5-8 hours
• Additional in-district safety, health services and emergency training provided by the district (virtually)
• On-site (W-2 contract)

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree
• Must hold State Certification in Washington 
• Comfortable with trach, and bus riding
• Prior school experience preferred
• Bilingual and non-bilingual applicants accepted
