As the field of bilingual speech-language pathology continues to develop, we understand that practitioners are continually faced with new situations and challenges. Bilingual Therapies offers unparalleled support to all of our clinicians and particularly to our clinical fellows.
Our support network includes every member of the Bilingual Therapies family, but begins with our CF mentors. Each clinical fellow is selectively paired with an experienced, bilingual CF mentor who can help new clinicians develop their bilingual competencies during the CFY. Other key members of this network include team leaders and the director of clinical services. Team leaders provide local support and facilitate communication between clinical fellows and other bilingual team members. The director of clinical services works to help CFs develop their bilingual clinical skills and can help each CF access resources from other clinicians nationwide.
For many, this ongoing support begins at the annual Bilingual U, a unique workshop held in conjunction with the Bilingual Symposium. At Bilingual U, clinical fellows prepare for their first year by receiving specialized training, and getting to know other members of the Bilingual Therapies team.
We want to help you get the tools you need to succeed as a competent bilingual speech-language pathologist. Please take a moment to learn more about our CF mentors, team leaders and office staff! You can also find more information on the Bilingual U on the Symposium page.
